Just as our local foothills afford spectacular views of the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, so our Foothills Series affords you with the enjoyment of some spectacularly beautiful coffees. These special coffees are crafted with the modern coffee connoisseur in mind. Sourced from single estates and microlots, these coffees have been produced with unique processing methods and then roasted in small batches at a style that gives you the sweetest, best-tasting “view” of these coffees.

Tasting Notes: raspberry, plum, lavender
Shantawene Village is located in the Bensa District of Sidama, Ethiopia. This natural lot is a collection of coffees from the village, produced at the local mill run by the Dukamo Family. The mill at Shantawene Village has become quite successful--taking 7th place in the inaugural Cup of Excellence competition for Ethiopia. We think you’ll enjoy this complex, fruit-forward Ethiopian coffee!
